BoxSys works with businesses and supply chains across the country to efficiently upkeep and extend the lifecycle of reusable plastic containers (RPCs) as well as other essential reusable assets.
Our state-of-the-art facility and experienced, professional staff thoroughly wash, sanitize and manage more than 80,000 containers per day, over 30 million per year; our large-scale contribution and commitment to a consistent, supported circular economy.
Here’s how it works.
To ensure all clients are thoroughly, personally managed and cared for, all accounts are personally managed by BoxSys’ president.
From there, all client-servicing processes follow our patented, scientifically backed supply chain model, known in-house as BOTB. This model covers every base, from inbound to assessment, execution to shipping and delivery to ensure mutual productivity, sustainability, efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
First, the plastic containers are received by our facility from distributors, growers, manufacturers packers, processors and wholesalers across multiple industries. These high-volume deliveries are typically divided into 2 categories of servicing; buffer volume and live-loading.
Buffer volume loads are stored after cleaning in the BoxSys facility and then given back to the client when another load is dropped off. This keeps cleaned, sanitized and maintained containers in a smooth cycle while saving clients on storage, business square footage and transportation costs.
Live-loading deliveries are removed from the truck, taken care of by our staff and then loaded for delivery back onto the same truck.
Once our team assesses the containers, they are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized through a customized selection of chemicals and environmentally friendly automated (or manually operated) processes.
Better than just scrubbing a container by hand, our advanced technological machinery goes beyond surface cleaning and sanitizing, getting down to a microbial level to eliminate contaminants in addition to the common dirt, grease or (in the case of meat product containers) blood stains.

Once a reusable plastic container has reached a state that would be considered an interruption or end of its lifecycle, our thorough assessment would determine if the item can be properly repaired to code or retired and recycled.
A reduction of solid waste, our reusable plastic container recycling program allows for end-of-life containers to be separately stored until they can eventually be broken down and moulded into brand-new containers. As part of their established container maintenance plan, clients are provided credits for recycling.
