At BoxSys, cleaning, sanitizing, storing, repairing and recycling reusable plastic containers and other repeat-use assets is our business. And, sometimes, the biggest messes or threats to these supply chain necessities are the contaminants you can’t see.
This is why we service businesses and corporations across multiple industries, providing world-class, cost-effective large-scale sanitization that meets even the most stringent regulatory standards.
Developed and perfected by our experienced, professionally trained R&D team, we follow our scientifically patented process, a robust BOTB model that can be broken down into four stages; Inbound, Assessment, Execution and Delivery.
For high-volume container sanitization, there are two main options available; live-loading and buffer volume.
When your company opts for live-loading sanitization and asset management, your containers and other reusable assets are offloaded from the assigned truck into our state-of-the-art facility. They are then thoroughly inspected, washed, sanitized and reloaded back onto the same truck for delivery.
When you opt for buffer volume sanitization, your asset load is cleaned, sanitized and stored, allowing for there always to be a fresh, clean load ready to go when the truck drops off your next load for cleaning. This keeps your supply chain running and your transportation costs low.
Here at our high-volume facility – up to 80,000 units per day – our customizable, cost-saving services include (but aren’t limited to) label stripping solutions, automated cleaning, manual cleaning, microbiological testing (on-site and in-lab), sanitization plus container repair, retirement and recycling.
As a supplier to the food and beverage industry and someone who has worked in this sector for over 15 years, I understand the importance of validating the cleaning process. Micro-swabbing and chemical titrating are pivotal to ensure items are cleaned to the highest standard and I am always impressed with BoxSys’ attention to detail in ensuring their process is working properly to meet their customers’ needs.
Believe me, whenever there is a question about improving cleaning, I get a phone call very quickly!

High-volume sanitization offers several advantages such as specialization of assigned cleaners, consistency, asset management (including tracking and reporting) plus less need for storage space in your own spaces or facilities.
In comparison to manual cleaning, the use of our services, staff and facilities also helps to reduce the risk of cross-contamination while ensuring your time, resources and costs are efficiently saved.
This can depend on the type of products being transported, frequency of use and standards or regulations your industry holds to your supply chain.
During our assessments of your assets, our team will continuously inspect not only the degree of cleanliness, sanitization and maintenance required but also determine the frequency of cleaning and sanitization required to upkeep conditions and prolong the items’ lifespans.
